A major assignment for this first-tier law firm which culminated in the signing of a long-term lease for over 450,000 square feet of office space in a new building developed over the Grand Central Post Office in midtown Manhattan.
Our role was to formulate Davis Polk & Wardwell's long-term real estate program, identify and evaluate the various alternatives, and finally negotiate the most favorable transaction and oversee its implementation.  In reality, we structured and negotiated the broader terms for an extraordinarily complex, multi-layered development project, and helped resolve conditional issues with government agencies under stringent deadlines.
