
A principal in our firm was called in to evaluate real estate options for Union Trust; to formulate a long-term strategic plan, and to implement it. We ascertained that the Bank should have a new 380,000 square foot headquarters building built by a developer, on land owned by the Bank. We performed many of the pre-development tasks to minimize the returns which a developer would require, and arranged for a competition among the leading developers in the U.S. for the project, ultimately awarded to Trammell Crow.
